Automatic Spell-Check
Automatic spell-check is now available in object labels and text objects. This new feature is dead-simple to use. When left on, spell-check will highlight misspelled words with a red underline anytime focus is set to an editable text area. To replace a misspelled word with one from the dictionary, simply right-click the underlined word to access a drop-down list of recommended alternatives. Should you wish to edit text without the visual markers of automatic spell-check, togg

Comment Your Saves: Save The World
Save with Comments is a new feature in ZebraZapps allowing authors to annotate individual saves with useful notes. In many cases, it is nice to have a save history that points out major changes in an app’s design or function. Should an author wish to go back in history to a previous version, a well annotated list of saves would provide a pivotal key in choosing which version to open. Save with Comments [Shift + q] and Save As [Shift + s], both include this new annotation spac

Early July 2014 Release - The Custom Font Manager has Arrived!
July’s early release brings to life a big, new design feature: The Font Manager. With the new font manager an author can upload any font file (.otc, .ttf & .ttc) to their account. Once the font file has processed (just a few seconds), the font can be added and used in any project. For authors who are working collaboratively with other ZebraZapps users, transferred projects with uploaded fonts will leave the fonts embedded in the project. However, for copyright purposes the fo

Featured App and Gadget - A Keypad!
Keypads in your e-learning apps can help make a big difference with inputting numbers. A simple keypad in a gadget allows your users/learners to input a decimal point anywhere in their answer. By default, this keypad includes a US dollar sign and rounds to two decimal places. But of course, like all ZebraZapps Gadgets, the specifications are editable by authors. Our Keypad Only Gadget allows an author to import the logic of this keypad and employ it in their own project howev
